Fitting Process
Having golf clubs fitted can be done anytime during the year as we utilise indoor fitting rooms and our flood lit, heated driving range.
Firstly you need to ring us upon 01978 661406 and book a fitting with our GCA Master Club Builder – Gary Pickering. The fitting session varies in length dependent upon the items you want to be fitted for.
- Putter fittings are conducted indoor upon our 1000 sq. ft. Huxley putting green.
- Driver, woods and iron fittings are conducted both in-door utilising the EDH Kudo launch monitor and on the driving range.
- Wedge fittings are conducted upon our dedicated short game range.
- Ball fittings can be done indoor on our launch monitor for drivers, woods and irons.
- Wedge ball fitting can be done on the short game area.

We normally ask you to bring your existing clubs along so we can inspect them, taking several key measurements that can affect performance. You can then hit your existing clubs during the fitting session, that way you gain a better comparison with any proposed clubs.
To view some of our fitting videos, go to www.youtube.com and subscribe to the ClaysGolf page. Its totally free of charge.
We use the KUDU flightscope to track your ball flight. The KUDU machine can track your all indoors and outdoors.
