Maureen Madill
Maureen Turned Professional in 1986, joined Clays in 2007, Maureen is an Advanced fellow of the PGA. Coached at National Level and many county sides including Shropshire, Mid Wales, Staffordshire and Cheshire.
Maureen was head coach of the Welsh National Team in 1999 and was instrumental in guiding the girls and women’s team to victory in the home international series for the first time in their history. She has also enjoyed a healthy playing career on the professional circuits around the world.
Maureen's work for the BBC is now shared with her time coaching at Clays.

Richard Edwards
Richard Turned Professional in 1994, after completing a four year golf scholarship in Texas, USA. He then joined Clays in 2002.
Welsh Girls National Coach in 2005 and 2006, National Junior Development Coach for the Welsh Ladies Golf union from 2001 until 2007. From 2002 until 2004 Richard was also regional coach for ELGA.
Richard is a fully qualified Jack Nicklaus/Jim Flick Tutor.
Richard currently works for the PGA as a Level 1 and 2 Tutor. He is also a NLP Practioner (Golf Psychology). Richard is currently undertaking the UKCC Level 4 Coaching Certificate (Masters Degree in Golf) Before joining Clays Richard previously worked at Carden Park as Head Professional.

Sam Griffiths
Sam is the most recent member of the coaching team at Clays. He lives and studied locally at Yale College successfully completing A levels in History, Politics and Law.
He has just completed his final year of PGA training and turned professional in 2008 after seven years of golfing experience.
Sam previously worked at Wrexham Golf Club, mentored to a high level by international coach, Paul Williams. In his role at the club he helped establish and run a successful junior coaching programme.
He has nurtured and coached golfers from beginners to County level. A number of Sam’s students are now playing in national competitions and finals. His ambition now is to make the Clays junior academy a national success.
Neil Owen
Neil started his PGA training in 2009 after a successful amateur playing career. He joined Clays in 2002. Before turning professional Neil was Assistant Manager in the shop at Clays, he knows all aspects of Retail and helped run Clays Golf Centre.
Neil also has a degree specialising in Consumer Behaviour and Ethics, from Liverpool JMU and also established their University Golf Team.
He is now currently part of the junior academy coaching staff and is also developing the 'new to golf' players.
