Clays is proud to have a strong active working relationship with numerous Local Schools and Colleges.  

Golf In Local Schools

Currently working with Ysgol Deiniol County Primary in Marchweil and Gresford All Saints School Clays Professional Staff use the Tri-Golf scheme which is a complete introduction to golf using plastic golf clubs and is carried out in the schools themselves.

With the older children in the schools the Professionals use Extreme Golf which provides a transition between plastic clubs and traditional golf clubs. This is perfect for those who have previously been on the Tri-Golf scheme and looking for that next step.

Golf in Yale College

Although young children in golf is essential to the sport's development we also understand that the final few years for any junior golfer is critical to help them keep enjoying golf when other commitments arise. This is often a time when golf for many people takes a backseat. The Yale Golf Academy was set up to provide local college students the opportunity to play golf whilst receiving a full time education and helps them to be able to manage their sporting commitments with academic study.

In the Academy each student creates an individual porfolio of their golf game and has drills, routines and assessments allowing them to improve their golf under the guidance of our Clays Professional Staff.
