Clays Golf, Wrexham is looking to launch a new initiative for local groups of friends, buisnesses and teams from the Wrexham area who are looking to compete in a fun, unique competitive event.

How will it work?

Your team:

Will consist of 5 players;

You must register a team (with team name) by (TBC)

Entry will be £10 per team;

New players can be introduced to the team at anytime but no player can play for more than one team in each league cycle.

Scoring

Matches will take place each week, where all 5 players will play and the 4 lowest scores from each team will be submitted;

If a team fields less than 4 players, they shall recieve a score of 50 for each absent person towards their 4 lowest scores;

The scoring for each game week will be updated on this section of the website. 

As an added bonus the player from any team who scores the lowest score each game week will win 5 free drink vouchers - one for each team member to be use anytime before the next game week.

Plus!

You can create your own team name, your team colours and why not add a team slogan to help intimidate your rivals.

The league cycle will last for nine game weeks and will culminate in subsequent quarter final, semi final, and grand final game weeks.

Is it fair?

Yes! Teams can be made up of players of both mixed sex and ability, from professionals to the first timers, anyone can play for your team. However to keep it equal, teams may only have a maximum of one professional or golfer with  a handicap of five or less.
