Last Thursday we welcomed Phil and Gaynor Gee to the Clays Golf team, they have now taken over the running of the Bar. Phil and Gaynor are new to our club, but previously ran the bar and catering facility at Llangollen golf club for seven years.

They have already made a much needed improvement to the presentation of the Bar and their fridges are now fully stocked with all of your favourite drinks.

We wish them all the best in the coming months and along with Hayley, who has taken over the catering, we know the club will carry on going from strength to strength.

With projects on the course put back due to the weather, Mark, our head Greenkeeper and the team have turned their attention to cleaning up our Just Your Putter mini golf course. A new fence has been erected around the mini golf course, pathways and playing surfaces cleaned and surrounds have been filled with decorative chippings.

We’ve moved! Our brand new golf reception and membership office is now located at the front of the building. The new reception has been completely revamped and is now a much more welcoming place to check in for your round of golf, top up your driving range card or to simply a have a chat about your membership with our friendly team.

There’s still some finishing touches left to do outside the golf reception which will include new signage and an easy access door.
